Submissions are up!

Great news! Submission of research manuscripts to AJP-Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology from 1/1/-6/31-2014 were 5% higher compared to last year.  This is a great accomplishment and reflects the dedication and hard work of the Deputy and Associate Editors, the members of the Editorial Board and invited reviewers.  We have received many positive comments concerning the review process.  Authors feel that their papers benefit greatly from the thoughtful reviews.  Our Associate Editor clearly summarize what needs to be done for the paper to move forward.  We believe we have a positive impact in advancing lung research.
Please consider submitting your paper to AJP-Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology.  We welcome basic, translational and hypothesis driven clinical papers on all aspects of lung research.  Please notice that we have six calls for papers (please see http://ajplung.physiology.org/).  Papers fitting these categories receive expedited reviews.

Also please notice the first Rapid Report published in AJP-Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology

If you would like to submit a rapid report please follow these guidelines for Rapid Reports:
